The trouble is that Group Policy Editor does not actually do anything useful. None of the settings I configure using gpedit. Bart you can use the portable Policy Plus tool for running group policy wherever you want regardless of Windows edition. RUN: gpedit. As I said before I ran this file and I now have boot problems. Ran DISM still no fixes. The 5 dll files are appmgr, fde, fdeploy, gpedit and gptext. Error seems to be that the 5 files in the syswow64 folder are not the same as the ones in the system32 folder.
